PVP Mode Explanatory Notes

PvP Moveset Explanation
Volt Switch Or Rock Throw + Rock Blast and Thunderbolt

Volt Switch is generally the move of choice due to its high energy gains and solid damage, though Rock Throw is also viable where Rock Type damage is the priority.

Rock Blast is the primary charge move on Alolan Graveler due to its lower energy cost. Thunderbolt is typically preferred for coverage, though Stone Edge deals a bit more damage for the same energy.

PvP Rating Explanation
Great League: 2.5 / 5

Alolan Graveler performs very similarly to its evolved form, Alolan Golem, with regards to performance in Great League. The biggest difference between the two is that Alolan Graveler has access to Thunderbolt, while its evolved form has Wild Charge. While the latter is the stronger move by a fair margin, the former has the advantage of not dropping the user's defense on use. In PvP, Alolan Graveler has difficulties with its unimpressive bulk from its well-rounded stats, as well as a very vulnerable typing due to how common its vulnerabilities are. Despite this, a slow but hard-hitting moveset allows it to compete with much bulkier opponents through greater damage output rather than tankiness. Overall a very risky pick due to its easily exploitable weaknesses, so definitely pick your fights carefully.

Ultra League: 0 / 5

With a max CP of 2145, Alolan Graveler is limited to the Great League.

Master League: 0 / 5

With a max CP of 2145, Alolan Graveler is limited to the Great League.
