Lunatone is a Rock & Psychic Pokémon. It is vulnerable to Ground, Bug, Ghost, Steel, Water, Grass and Dark moves. Lunatone's strongest moveset is Confusion & Psychic and it has a Max CP of 2,327.
"Lunatone was discovered at a location where a meteoroid fell. As a result, some people theorize that this Pokémon came from space. However, no one has been able to prove this theory so far."
Confusion is generally recommended due to its superior energy gains, but Rock Throw can provide direct and immediate Rock-type coverage if needed as a specialist.
Rock Slide costs the least amount of energy, gets STAB, and provides wide coverage. Psychic benefits from STAB to threaten strong Psychic-type damage, while Moonblast is an alternative option that offers Fairy-type coverage to hurt Dark-type opponents.
Lunatone... is not good in PvP. It has a nice moveset overall, but not nice enough to make up for its sub-par typing and slightly offensively-oriented stats. It can be useful in some cases, but its niches are better served by other Pokemon.
Giratina says "Hi".
Seeing Lunatone hit the field is sure to make your opponent happy (if a bit confused) at least!
