PVP Mode Explanatory Notes

PvP Moveset Explanation
Volt Switch + Thunder Punch and Thunder or Thunderbolt

Volt Switch and Spark both sport identical energy generation, but the former is preferred for its superior damage output. Thunder (100 power, 60 energy) only costs 5 more energy than Thunderbolt (90 power, 55 energy) and hits hard enough to make it worth running, especially when you have Thunder Punch (55 power, 40 energy) available for shield baiting.

PvP Rating Explanation
Great League: 2 / 5

Pachirisu’s max CP of 1213 isn’t fantastic. While that wouldn’t immediately disqualify it (see Sableye and Medicham), its mediocre moveset does. Having no non-Electric-type attacks available in its moveset prevents it from having the good general matchups it needs to perform well. If you’re going to max any Pokémon for Great League, maybe don’t choose Pachirisu.

Ultra League: 0 / 5

You wouldn’t send a squirrel out to fight a dragon.

Master League: 0 / 5

You wouldn’t send a squirrel out to fight, like, seven different dragons.
