Parasect is a Bug & Grass Pokémon which evolves from Paras. It is vulnerable to Flying, Fire, Poison, Rock, Bug and Ice moves. Parasect's strongest moveset is Fury Cutter & Solar Beam and it has a Max CP of 1,859.
"Parasect is known to infest large trees en masse and drain nutrients from the lower trunk and roots. When an infested tree dies, they move onto another tree all at once."
Fury Cutter has 2 DPT (Damage Per Turn) and 4 EPT (Energy Per Turn), making it a very effective STAB Quick-Move.
X-Scissor (45 Power/35 Energy) comes out very quickly, and Solar Beam (150 Power/80 Energy) is a very expensive yet very powerful second STAB charged move to round out Parasect's moveset. Cross Poison can be chosen for its cheap Poison-type coverage, or it can substitute X-Scissor to bait shields if Bug-type coverage isn't as preferable.
Parasect has no real niche of its own in the Great League, falling short of most other Pokemon that can perform the same jobs that it can while having a plethora of weaknesses. Parasect just has no utility in the Great League.
Parasect is far too weak for the Ultra League.
Using Parasect in the master League is about like only picking 2 Pokemon.
