Pyroar is a Fire & Normal Pokémon which evolves from Litleo. It is vulnerable to Fighting, Ground, Rock and Water moves. Pyroar's strongest moveset is Fire Fang & Overheat and it has a Max CP of 2,767.
"The male with the largest mane of fire is the leader of the pride."
Fire Fang focuses on high damage output, though its energy generation is below average. Take Down is not only a very poor move, but also can't be Super Effective vs anything.
Flame Charge isn't particularly strong, but benefits from STAB and offers a guaranteed buff to ATK, even when shielded. Overheat is recommended for its incredible damage threat, though it can be risky to use due to its self-debuff. Dark Pulse lacks STAB and isn't particularly valuable for a Fire-type Pokemon, but offers Dark-type coverage which can be useful for when Fire-type attacks would be resisted.
Pyroar sports a unique Fire/Normal typing which isn't particularly complimentary, but gives it unique resistances that can be useful in certain niche formats. A high ATK results in poor bulk which typically is unfavorable due to how CP is calculated, though in Pyroar's situation isn't necessarily a bad thing as it increases Fire Fang's strong STAB damage. However, Pyroar's fragility will cause him to demand shields as he can't tank damage very well. Slow shield pressure from Pyroar's moveset holds him back from competing well in the meta, with notable struggles against Pokemon with counter coverage like Registeel and Chesnaught.
Pyroar's Normal sub-typing is useful in Ultra League due to common Ghost Pokemon in the meta, though this also exposes a weakness to equally common Fighting-types. Aside from this niche, Pyroar doesn't have much to offer compared to relevant meta Fire-types, as its fragile bulk and slow charge moves hold it back significantly.
Pyroar lacks stats for Master League, and its issues with its moveset haven't magically disappeared either. Wins against Glaceon, Metagross, and Magnezone are to be expected, though the latter two can win if Pyroar lacks shields, which is rather discouraging.
