Scrafty is a Dark & Fighting Pokémon which evolves from Scraggy. It is vulnerable to Fairy, Fighting and Flying moves. Scrafty's strongest moveset is Counter & Foul Play and it has a Max CP of 2,283.
"It taunts its opponents by spitting. It has a certain territory that it never leaves its whole life long."
Counter is recommended for its superior damage output by a considerable margin, in addition to its wide coverage. Snarl generates energy more quickly, but lacks raw power.
Foul Play is the only significant damage-dealing charge move available, and benefits from STAB. Power-Up Punch is the cheapest charge move available energy-wise, and while it doesn't deal much damage, can be useful to boost ATK while possibly baiting shields. Acid Spray is an interesting utility charge move, but not as viable due to its somewhat expensive energy cost.
Scrafty sports a very unique Dark/Fighting typing, above average bulk, and an interesting moveset with strong potential. Dark sub-typing helps to mitigate weaknesses to Ghost and Psychic-types that resist Fighting-type Pokemon, which lets Scrafty stand out from other Fighting-types. Access to Power-Up Punch gives Scrafty a lot of potential to pressure shields when played properly, in addition to boosting its powerful fast move. However, Pokemon with access to Charm will annihilate Scrafty very easily, and Scrafty generally has negative matchups with other Fighting-type Pokemon.
The general theme of Ultra League suits Scrafty very well, as its typing and coverage is favorable against popular Steel-types and Giratina. With a max CP of 2283 however, Scrafty becomes an expensive investment as it needs to be maxed out. It should also be noted Scrafty may struggle against bulky Psychic-types in this league despite its Dark-typing.
Scrafty doesn't have the stats for Master League, which is unfortunate giving its unique typing and coverage.
