Seviper is a regional Poison Pokémon. It is vulnerable to Ground and Psychic moves. Seviper's strongest moveset is Poison Jab & Crunch and it has a Max CP of 2,105. This Pokémon is only found in North America, South America, Africa.
"Seviper shares a generations-long feud with Zangoose. The scars on its body are evidence of vicious battles. This Pokémon attacks using its sword-edged tail."
Poison Jab (3 DPT/3.5 EPT) is a good move, sporting above average performance plus STAB. It pairs well with Poison Fang (40 Power/35 Energy) despite its genuinely low power to provide an easily spammed attack. However, Crunch (70 Power/45 Energy) is the objectively stronger move, sporting better power despite lacking STAB and better coverage.
Seviper can fill a small niche as a counter to Charm spammers such as Clefable, hitting them quickly while resisting their powerful Quick Moves. It can also act as a counter to some of the powerful Grass types in the tier such as Tropius. That said; it's not the best in either role thanks to its more attack-weighted stats and Poison mono-typing.
Seviper has no niche in the ultra league at all.
Seviper has strayed too far from home searching for its rival, Zangoose! It won't survive long here!
