Shaymin (Land) is a mythical Grass Pokémon. It is vulnerable to Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire and Ice moves. Shaymin's strongest moveset is Zen Headbutt & Solar Beam and it has a Max CP of 3,265.
"The blooming of Gracidea flowers confers the power of flight upon it. Feelings of gratitude are the message it delivers."
Shaymin was not blessed with a good moveset for PvP unfortunately. Hidden Power boasts greater stats in both damage output and energy gain compared to Zen Headbutt, in addition to having an initially unpredictable typing.
Grass Knot costs the least amount of energy among available Charge Move options, and is also quite efficient in terms of its Damage Per Energy (DPE). All of Shaymin's other Charge Moves are less efficient and share the same Grass typing, therefore they are not needed. Seed Flare is notable for its 40% chance to debuff the opponent, but this is a poor strategy when shields are available to the opponent due to its massive energy demands.
Shaymin's moveset is unfortunately very bad for PvP. With an inefficient moveset and lack of coverage options, it's best to admire Shaymin in your storage rather than actually bringing it out to fight.
