Tangela is a Grass Pokémon. It is vulnerable to Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire and Ice moves. Tangela's strongest moveset is Vine Whip & Grass Knot and it has a Max CP of 2,238. Tangela evolves into Tangrowth.
"Tangela's vines snap off easily if they are grabbed. This happens without pain, allowing it to make a quick getaway. The lost vines are replaced by newly grown vines the very next day."
Vine Whip is Tangela's best fast move option, providing good damage and energy generation. Sludge Bomb is your non-Grass option, making it mandatory for coverage. Grass Knot is run over Solar Beam because it's cheaper, and thus more consistent. Power Whip, Tangela's legacy move, has identical stats to Grass Knot, and thus can be run by preference if you have one.
Tangela is...fine? in Great League. Its bulk isn't impressive, and it lacks any meaningful niche over something like Ivysaur (which has a similar moveset, but also gets STAB on Sludge Bomb). The mon isn't great, but it's also not terrible.
Level 50 actually allows Tangela to reach the requisite CP to compete in Ultra League, though once again it lacks any real niche. Consider looking at Tangela's evolution, Tangrowth instead.
Tangela lacks the max CP to compete in Master League.
