Kangaskhan is a regional Normal Pokémon. It is vulnerable to Fighting moves. Kangaskhan's strongest moveset is Mud-Slap & Return and it has a Max CP of 2,586. This Pokémon is only found in Australasia.
"If you come across a young Kangaskhan playing by itself, you must never disturb it or attempt to catch it. The baby Pokémon's parent is sure to be in the area, and it will become violently enraged at you."
Mud Slap is an average damage-oriented move. Power-Up Punch is Kangaskhan's cheapest move and boosts its Attack with each use. Given a bit of shield play, it can make Kangaskhan a huge offensive threat that deals huge damage with each attack given a few uses. Outrage is a slow but powerful move that hits popular Dragons extremely hard.
The more accessible Crunch is also an option.
Poor Kangaskhan really doesn't have much to its advantage. Its quick moves are bad and its typing is not good, plus it's outclassed in any possible niche by many other Pokemon. It can be a bit unpredictable due to its wide movepool, but it just has too many weights holding it back to be considered good.
Kangaskhan does have greatly improved performance in the Ultra League due to its in-demand type coverage. A resistance to Ghost, a Ground fast move to farm Steel and Outrage to delete Dragons form one of the best combinations possible given the current metagame of the league.
Its CP is too low to compete here. Too bad Kangaskhan's kid can't just jump out of its pouch and help it....
