Marowak is a Ground Pokémon which evolves from Cubone. It is vulnerable to Water, Grass and Ice moves. Marowak's strongest moveset is Mud-Slap & Earthquake and it has a Max CP of 1,835.
"Marowak is the evolved form of a Cubone that has overcome its sadness at the loss of its mother and grown tough. This Pokémon's tempered and hardened spirit is not easily broken."
Mud Slap benefits from STAB to slap the opponent for considerable damage, though its energy generation is below average. Rock Smash is a poor move.
Rock Slide is the only coverage option available, making it mandatory for Marowak, and is a good Charge Move overall. Bone Club is a poor move, but can still be chosen for its low energy cost in order to bait shields or deal chip damage. Earthquake is the opposite, threatening massive damage while also demanding a lot of energy for this power. Dig is a terrible move.
Marowak lives in the haunted shadow of its Alolan counterpart. It faces too much competition from other Ground types, and doesn't have a particular niche to call its own. Your best bet is to just look elsewhere. Perfect coverage from Ground and Rock type coverage is very valuable, but poor energy generation means Marowak can't take advantage of this perk often enough.
Marowak is unaviable in the Ultra League
If you use Marowak in the Master league, you're basically boned.
